UPDATE ON NEW SHIPPING ARRANGEMENT

I am very happy with the new deal we have on shipping, it is saving over 25% from what UPS was costing us. 

Shipping News and Changes as of 2/27/2008

We have a special account set up for Fedex that will save you money on shipping. I have been concerned because the cost of freight has been rising at a steady rate. Every time the price of fuel goes up the price of shipping goes up.

The goverenment has in place a system that allows trucking companies to charge a surcharge on freight rates and each time the fuel price changes so does the surcharge.

When I look at the bills we have been getting from UPS and see the surcharge for fuel, then recently on a delivery to New Hampshire there was also a surcharge for the place of delivery, I guess out in the country somewhere out of town.

Anyway we are trying to make this more affordable for you and us.
We will use Fedex for the shipping on orders under $100 and of course will us them on the shipping over $100 that we will continue to pay for on retail orders.

During the hot weather of summer, we will ship only on Monday of each week. This is because if candles have to sit in a hot truck over the weekend they may be damaged.

If you order on Monday of one week it will probably be the Monday of the next week before your order will ship. This will only be during the hot summer months. When the order ships on Monday you should get it by Friday of that week depending on your location.

In the cooler times of the year we will ship anytime the order is ready, this is of course if we have the product pre-made of if we produce it just for you.

 I will post on this site when we will only be shipping only on Monday.
